Lions Dive & Beach Resort, the natural place to stay
The management of the Lions Dive & Beach Resort is well aware that tourism
can only survive in a world where good care is taken of nature and the
environment and where the social and cultural context are valued.
Therefore the Lions Dive & Beach Resort tries to minimize
its impacts on the environment by saving energy and water, and by reducing and
carefully processing waste and waste water.
The tropical nature is proudly reflected in our garden. We count on our
guest to help us keep our hotel the natural place to stay.

| Guestrooms All rooms have two double beds, air-conditioning, balcony or terrace, safety deposit box, telephone, television, bathroom with shower. The electricity of all rooms are 220 volts. Adapters for 110 volts are available at the front desk. Most of the 72 rooms have oceanview. Baby cots are available. Eco Room It's a normal guestroom where the latest inventions in environmental management techniques are tested in practice. Please ask the Front Office for more information. |

the premier dive facility in Curaçao, is a family owned and
operated Gold Palm Five Star IDC PADI National Geographic Dive Center and
IANTD Technical Dive Center.
Ocean Encounters personalized service takes our guest to a great number of
dive-sites. At Ocean Encounters, our guests are our first priority. We have
dives schedules every day. Choosing the dive site of the day is based on weather
conditions, customer requests, and divers skills. Ocean Encounters offers dives
from walls and coral gardens to sloping reefs and wrecks. Experience the dive
sites that make Curacao a top destination in the Caribbean. Such sites include
our house reef at the Seaquarium, East Point, Lost Anchor, Barracuda point,
Beacon Point, the wreck of the Superior Producer, Tugboat and many more.
Ocean Encounters dive boats are build for divers. Each boat is certified and
adheres to all safety standards of the Coast Guard. They are equipped with
features such as VHF radio, Oxygen kits, First Aid kits, and life vests. All of
the diving and boat crew at Ocean Encounters are Medic First Aid and DAN Oxygen
certified. For your convenience camera rinse buckets are also available.
For the non-diver, we offer snorkeling from the dive boat at the dive
site. Most of the dive sites make for great snorkeling at the outer reefs,
walls, and drop-offs. Snorkelers can taste the excitement of diving from the
surface by experiencing colorful corals, and a abundance of reef-fish.
Ocean Encounters commitment to personalized service is the keystone to our
success. Hand-picking guides for their knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to
excellent service. Ocean Encounters has build a first class team made up of PADI
Instructors, PADI Divemasters, and outstanding Boat-captains. Ocean Encounters
can meet all diving enthusiasts' needs from the inexperienced to the most
advanced.
Additionally, Ocean Encounters offers all the PADI programs and courses you'll
ever want. For children, we are providing SASY (Supplied Air Snorkeling for
Youth) at the age of 5, Bubble Maker starting at an age of 8 years old, to
programs in becoming a PADI Instructor and much more. We have a knowledgeable
and professional trained staff, ready to support you.
