When you're ready to experience a whole new world, Toucan Diving at Plaza Resort Bonaire is the place to be. There are over 80 dive sites to explore here - by boat or from shore. Which is exactly why Bonaire is one of the top dive destinations in the world. Bonaire is home to more than 500 species of colorful fish, as well as over 120 types of coral, with visibility reaching 90 to 150 feet. Most importantly, the waters around the island have been designated as a national park and are managed by the Bonaire Marine park which protects them year round for your enjoyment, as well as for future generations.

Your holiday will be unforgettable if you decide to snorkel or dive and see the beautiful underwater park of Bonaire. Toucan Diving offers you everything you need to learn about scuba-diving, to relax and enjoy the beautiful corals, the many colored fish and sea-turtles. We have dive and snorkel equipment, professional and experienced instructors and a dive-repair shop. Toucan Diving organizes scuba diving and dive excursions directly in front of the Resort and to more secluded areas. If you are interested in this wonderful and fascinating world, please participate in one of the introduction dives and perhaps you will leave the island as an addicted diver with a dive-certificate you can use all over the world.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Ahhh... room to breathe. Stretch out. Relax. Just like our grounds, our rooms are spacious as well. It just makes sense - after spending the day enjoying the natural beauty of our island, we don't want to cramp your style. Here, the 200 overly spacious ocean or lagoon-side suites, and spacious one- and two-bedroom villas with a complete kitchen, are perfect for individuals, couples, families or groups. Each room is air conditioned and decorated with comfortable room amenities which feature mini-fridge, coffee maker, huge bathrooms, cable TV, telephone, and a private patio or balcony.

• JUNIOR SUITE:  Spacious air-conditioned guestroom with two queen-size beds, color-cable television, telephone, in-room safe (minimal fee), sitting area, coffee maker, mini-fridge, Italian tile floors. Spacious bathroom with double vanity sink, tub, shower, hairdryer. 
  View: Either Laguna or Ocean (different rates)
  Location: Close to the dive shop, pool and beach
  Floor: Can either be ground floor (patio) or first floor (balcony) 
• GRAND SUITE:  An upgrade to the Junior Suite description. Grand Suite is a larger room with the same features and is located closer to the beach.
  *King Beds cannot be requested in either the Jr. or Grand Suites! 
• 1 BEDROOM VILLA:  Spacious air-conditioned villa with full equipped kitchen facilities, dining/living area, color cable television, safety deposit box (minimal fee), Italian tile floors. Separate master Bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds. Spacious bathroom with two vanity sink, tub shower and hair dryer.
  View: Laguna or Ocean (different rates)
  Location: Within the lagoon area of our property (approx. 100 yards from the beach and pool area).
  Floor: All 1 bedroom villas are on the first floor (w/balcony), above the 2 bedroom villas.
• 2 BEDROOM VILLA:  Spacious air-conditioned villa with fully equipped kitchen facilities, dining/living area, color cable television, safety deposit box (minimal fee), Italian tile floor. Separate master Bedroom has one king-size bed, second bedroom has 2 single beds. Two separate Bathrooms.
  *2 Bedroom Ocean category only: Master Bedroom has 2 queen-size beds!

• The Caribbean Point:  Located in the main building of the Plaza Resort Bonaire, this air-conditioned restaurant with adjacent open terrace serves daily breakfast - omelets (made to order), warm croissants, cereals, pancakes, French toast, bacon & eggs, juices, coffee, tea and much more - try anything you like from the breakfast buffet.  Opening hours for breakfast: daily from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.
• Banana Tree:  Enjoy a sumptuous lunch or dinner while overlooking the fascinating sea. This ocean front restaurant offers a large choice of dishes from around the world in a "open air" setting. Whether a light snack or an extensive meal, you can have it all at the Banana Tree! Kids & Vegetarian menu's available. Open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
• Tipsy Seagull (also Bar):  Situated at the water's edge, the Tipsy Seagull provides a casual oceanfront setting in one of the most beautiful spots on Bonaire. This bar/restaurant is the ideal setting for a fast snack or romantic dinner. Specializing in grilled food and a catch of the day it is the perfect place to enjoy an exotic cocktail while watching a spectacular sunset.  Open daily from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Every Friday, Happy Hour from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. with live music.

BARS:

• Coconut Crash:  Located on the beach, the Coconut Crash is the ideal bar to have a refreshing drink during a warm day on the beach. Tropical drinks, cold beers are served throughout the day & night. Open daily from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. with Happy Hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Don't forget our Saturday night Beach BBQ on the Beach at the Coconut Crash Bar!
• Conch Corner:  Located in the main building of Plaza Resort Bonaire, the Conch Corner offers a continental breakfast between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.. During the day we serve freshly brewed coffee with homemade pastry. The perfect place to read your daily newspaper. Open daily from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m..

AMENITIES

You'll find that virtually everything is located right on the premises of Plaza Bonaire Resort. Amenities include our casino (open from 6pm until 4am daily), conference facilities, a mini-market, hairdresser, a terrific gift shop, beauty center and an elegant boutique. There's no shortage of activities, either, as we have our own tennis courts, fitness room, car rentals, a truly breathtaking seaside pool and even a beautiful and private white sand beach. The grounds of the Plaza Resort Bonaire are a travel destination in themselves, complete with a captivating man-made lagoon, waterfall and more than 300,000 tropical trees and flowering plants. If you wish to venture farther a field, for anything from a private honeymoon dinner on a moonlit beach to an overnight sailing excursion, the resort staff and Tropical Travel (located right in the resort lobby) will provide expert arrangement and assistance.
